Tips before booking: Make sure you don't have a special dinner planned. You will be on a colorless/white diet for 24 hours after your appointment. Stay hydrated, drink plenty of water before your appointment. Clients who are hydrated get the best results. Eat a snack/meal before your appointment. You will not be able to eat for 2 hours after your appointment. But you will be able to drink water right away. If you've had braces in less than 6 months, please get the green light from your orthodontist first. Feel free to bring in headphones, to listen to your favorite music or podcast. Please let your contacts know you will be unavailable by phone for 90 (duration of the appointment.) We look forward to seeing you and feel free to reach out with any questions.
SHOULD I CONSIDER ORGANIC TEETH WHITENING?
Studies shown that people with whiter teeth look younger and there is correlation between high self esteem and a bright, confident, smile. Our organic teeth whitening session is a great way to instantly enhance your smile.
HOW WHITE WILL MY TEETH GET?
After undergoing whitening, teeth shades can brighten up to 14 shades, with an average improvement of four to eight shades with each 20 minute application. Individual results will depend on your current tooth shade, treatment time and the composition of your teeth. Your end result will be a whiter, healthier smile. Everyone's teeth are different and have their own natural stopping point.
HOW LONG WILL THE TEETH WHITENING RESULT LAST?
This varies form person to person and depends on your diet and lifestyle. However, with proper maintenance and periodic touch-up treatments, you can keep your smile looking great for a long time!
IS ORGANIC TEETH WHITENING SAFE?
Yes, our teeth whitening gel formulation is an organic plant and mineral based product with built in enamel building qualities. Scientific research has shown that the active ingredients in our teeth whitening gels are safe and effective. Our whitening equipment is FDA approved and made in the USA. Our teeth whitening does not change or damage the structure of the teeth; it merely lifts and removes stains making your teeth whiter.
WILL TEETH WHITENING WORK ON CROWNS OR VENEERS?
Yes, our teeth whitening gel will remove staining from existing dental work and take it back to the original color of the veneer/crown. We cannot whiten them beyond the original color of the crown/veneer.
HOW LONG DOES TREATMENT TAKE?
The teeth whitening treatment involves being under our dental grade cool blue LED light for 60-90 minutes. We always book appointments for 2 hours. The extra time involves application of the product and ensure we give each client proper time to make sure they have a informative and relaxing session. It takes no longer than the time it would be for you to have a haircut or facial, which is great!
DOES IT HURT?
No, because our gel is all natural the treatment does not hurt and most clients experience no sensitivity. A very small percentage of clients may feel some tooth sensitivity, especially if they are dehydrated or consume very cold or very hot foods or beverages within two hours after their whitening session.
WILL MY TEETH FEEL SENSITIVE?
The majority of our clients do not experience any sensitivity. If sensitivity does occur it is temporary and may last 24-48 hours.
ARE THERE ANY FOODS/BEVERAGES TO AVOID AFTER GETTING MY TEETH WHITENED?
Yes, avoid stain causing foods for 24 hours after your appointment while the pores in your teeth are open. (Red Wine, Marinara sauce, chocolate, strawberries, coffee.) I recommend waiting 48 hours, for anything super staining like grape juice, marinara sauce, coffee and etc.
IF IT WILL STAIN A WHITE SHIRT, IT WILL STAIN YOUR TEETH. Also, for 24 hours after whitening do not use any colored mouth wash or toothpaste, blue or green, it will stain your teeth.
WHAT CAN I EAT AFTER MY APPOINTMENT?
Do not eat for 2 hours after your appointment, except water. Drink plenty of water and stay hydrated. Stick to colorless foods for 24 Hours after your appointment. (Potatoes, Chicken, Turkey) Each client is sent home with an "after appointment" care card, so you don't forget any instructions.
